Clint Howard has amassed over 200 acting credits during his more than 60-year career, beginning with his acting debut on the Andy Griffith show at just two years old. The Hollywood icon comes from a family of actors as the son of Rance Howard and Jean Speegle and the younger brother of actor and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard.
Clint has played a variety of characters over the years, appearing in classic films including Tango & Cash, FrostNixon, Apollo 13, the Austin Powers trilogy, The Waterboy, The Rocketeer, and Disney's The Jungle Book, along with hundreds of other titles. He also guest-starred in four Star Trek episodes across four series.
His first prominent television role was as a regular on the series Gentle Ben from 1967-1969. He also made a memorable appearance on the well-known American sitcom Seinfeld, playing “Tobias Lehigh Nagy,” a serial killer terrorizing Los Angeles. Other roles include appearances on The Streets of San Francisco, The Virginian, Breaking Point, and The Fugitive.
Clint has appeared in more than a dozen films directed by his brother Ron, and the pair shared the details of their unique upbringing in a book, The Boys: A Memoir of Hollywood and Family.
In addition to his acting career, Clint was the lead singer and frontman of his band, The Kempsters.
