After playing with the Dallas Mavericks for 4 years, Jalen signed a $104 million contract with the New York Knicks in 2022.
Making his first appearance as an All-Star in 2024, Jalen Brunson is no stranger to being recognized for his athleticism. Prior to his professional career, Brunson attended Stevenson High School and ended his junior year being one of the top point guards in the country. During his senior year of high school, Jalen earned back-to-back 2014 and 2015 Illinois Boys Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year and earned a third Associated Press All-State recognition. In 2015, Brunson participated in the Jordan Brand Classic. Additionally, Brunson was chosen to represent Team USA in the Nike Hoop Summit and recently was a member of the US World Cup Basketball Team.
Following his breakout high school career, Jalen continued to refine his game at Villanova University. From Villanova roommates to Knicks teammates, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart have recently partnered to release their first podcast Roommates Show, which garnered more than 2 million YouTube views within a few months of its debut.
Off the court, Jalen is extremely passionate about his charity, the Second Round Foundation, which aims to create equity for young people through education, sport, and community. Second Round is fueled by its mission to create generations of young people who are empowered to determine their own success, regardless of background or circumstance. As well as growing his brand off the court, Jalen has had an impeccable 2023/24 season, reaching a career-high of 50 points in one game. Jalen hopes to leverage his platform both on and off the court to empower young people to reach their dreams.
