Biography

Jenna Ortega has been acting since she was 8 years old. Known for her roles on hit shows like hit Netflix series You, Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle, and CW’s Jane the Virgin, Jenna is ascending into new grounds as the star of the Netflix series Wednesday.  Her role on Stuck in the Middle earned her a 2017 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series. Ortega starred in the independent feature The Fallout, which premiered at SXSW and won the Grand Jury Award. She received glowing reviews for her performance. 

She also can be seen starring opposite Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez in Miguel Arteta’s, Yes Day, which was seen by 53 million households in its first four weeks of release and was #1 in over 50 countries. 

Her previous work includes films and television series such as Richie Rich, AwesomenessTV, The Babysitter 2, Insidious Chapter 2, Iron Man 3, and the independent feature American Carnage, starring opposite Jorge Lendeborg. 

In January 2021, Jenna published her first book, It’s All Love, which sold out on Amazon in its first run. The book is a collection of Jenna’s own original quotes and affirmations, alongside intimate, personal stories about growing up Latina in Hollywood, working through depression, and her commitment to her faith, mental health, family and herself. 

As a Latina in Hollywood, Jenna is using her platform to advocate for young women and minorities. By playing different roles that respect and embrace her ethnicity, she hopes to inspire young women to embrace what makes them unique.
