To All the Boys I've Loved Before became an overnight sensation when Netflix adapted it into an original film. She served as executive producer for the movie and the adaptions of the remaining books in the series, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, and To All the Boys: Always and Forever. Her books have been published in more than thirty languages.
She is a former children's bookseller and children's librarian. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
