Restaurateur, designer, author, philanthropist, producer and television personality, Lisa Vanderpump, was born and raised in London. She attended drama school full time from the early age of nine and spent her childhood acting in various children’s films and television series.
With an unmatched passion for life, Lisa exploded onto the television scene in the states with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010. Taking notice of her wit, wisdom, natural on screen elegance, and professional successes, Lisa established a fan base that rallies to her side with every move she makes.
Emerging as a breakout star on Bravo, the network worked with Lisa to develop her own spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules, which showcases Lisa’s unique ability to balance her motherly instincts with a shrewd business sense while following the passionate, volatile and hot-and-bothered-staff at her West Hollywood restaurant SUR. Lisa also became a fan favorite on the hit network television show Dancing With The Stars season 16.
As a restaurateur, Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, whom she has been married to for over 30 years, own the renowned celebrity hotspot Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills in addition to SUR. Throughout the years, the couple have owned 26 bars and restaurants in Europe, most of which were designed by Lisa whose enthusiasm for interiors led her to design various homes, many of which have been featured in magazines and television shows for her effortlessly chic take on style.
Her bestselling book, Simply Divine: A Guide to Easy, Elegant and Affordable Entertaining, was met with praise for her natural wit in instructing people how to entertain fabulously without breaking the bank. A prolific writer, Lisa also serves as Contributor for Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine.
With an empathetic heart, Lisa is committed to helping others through her work with various charities including GLAAD, The Keep Memory Alive Foundation, and The Children’s Burn Foundation among others. Lisa was most recently honored at the 2012 “Inspiration Awards for Women”, where she received the “Independent Inspiration Award” for her entrepreneurial efforts and being a positive role model to young women as well as the “Style & Elegance” award, which recognized her as someone who has inspired others through their fashion, elegance and artistic manner.
The mother of two, Pandora and Max, has lived in Monte Carlo, the English Countryside, and the South of France before moving to Beverly Hills. She currently resides in Beverly Hills with her husband and their five dogs Giggy (Gigolo), Lollipop, Pikachu, Pink Dog and Rumpy Pumpy.
